Community rules

Reference version: Spanish.

Football is debated here with passion, but with respect. You don't need to sign up to comment: just a nickname and a vote on the play.

Allowed: disagreeing with anything and anyone, backing your team, criticising refereeing decisions and quoting the Laws of the Game.

Not allowed: insulting other people, players or referees; hate speech based on origin, race, religion, sex or orientation; threats; unsubstantiated accusations against specific people; spam and links; or impersonating someone else.

How we moderate: an automatic filter holds back messages with serious insults or links until they're reviewed. After 3 reports from the community a comment is hidden and we review it. Anyone who breaks the rules seriously or repeatedly won't be able to comment again.

On social media: we sometimes feature well-argued comments on our social media, with their nickname. If you don't want yours to appear, write to us and we'll remove it.

What you write is public and your own responsibility. If you see something that shouldn't be here, hit “Report”.
